The Home Cleaning Company is a local Cardiff business connecting householders looking for domestic cleaners with top-quality, pre-screened independent cleaners. We started our business in 2013 and the self employed cleaners we work with currently provide regular weekly or fortnightly services to over 100 households in North Cardiff.
Our Story
I set up The Home Cleaning Company to provide a solution to an age old problem: how to find a trusted, professional cleaner to clean my home!
Before starting the Home Cleaning Co I worked for several years as an IT consultant. I worked long hours and was frequently away from home working on projects. The last thing I wanted to do was clean my house at the weekend. But I was working so many hours I was rarely at home to let the cleaner in. How could I find a cleaner I felt happy to handover my keys to give free access to my house?
I called a lot (and I mean A LOT) of cleaners to try and find a solution. I asked them all the same question:
How much do you know about the cleaners you are sending to my home?
I was shocked by the answers. Many of the cleaning companies I spoke to did no criminal record or background checks on their cleaners before sending them to my house or encouraging me to hand over my keys!
I started the The Home Cleaning Company to solve this problem, and with the goal of providing the most trusted Domestic Cleaning Service available. We care about every single one of our customers, and pride ourselves on the service we provide to our customers. My promise to you is simple: The Home Cleaning Company will never introduce a cleaner to your home who I would not happily trust to clean for my own family!
Of course keeping this promise sometimes means we have to turn away business – it is a lot easier to find houses to clean than it is to find professional and trustworthy cleaners. But that’s OK 🙂 Our aim is not to be the biggest, but to be the best!
Cleaning has been our business now for 4 years, and we have grown from strength to strength through selecting great cleaners and providing the best customer service we can.
